A short break away from home.
Our stay was memorable, Daisy checked us in and was friendly and professional, Ramesh wheeled our luggage to our room which was very clean , Nagi makes fantastic cocktails and keeps his guests entertained. Kudzai , Sunny , Sharif made sure we were served in the Farmers Common.
What could be improved: The breakfast could have more variety and there was no salad dressing with the salads not even olive oil or balsamic vinegar. Some dried fruits are cut in half , instead of being left whole. The F&B manager needs to treat all guests with the same amount of enthusiasm. Food should be replenished whether it’s a week day or a weekend. Also shower gel and shampoo containers should be refilled before another guest check in to the room .
Comfortable Stay Near Dubai Hills Mall, but Some Inconveniences
Overall, our stay at Hotel Local Jumeirah Village Triangle was very pleasant. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We also enjoyed the breakfast – it was delicious and well-served, adding a great start to each day.
What could be improved: The downside was the location – it’s quite far from central Jumeirah and on the more isolated side. However, the hotel is conveniently close to Dubai Hills Mall and Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, where we had our medical check-ups, which was a big plus.
We did face an issue with the in-room safety box, which malfunctioned and wouldn’t open. Since it contained our important documents, including passports, it caused some stress. While the engineering team worked on resolving the issue, we moved to another room one floor down. This was a bit of a disturbing experience, though thankfully, the team was eventually able to open the box and retrieve our belongings.
Despite this incident, we appreciated the staff’s efforts and had a decent stay.
